Our outdoor wood sealer repels water without creating a surface that's slippery when wet, so it's not only ideal for beautifying tables and trim, it's perfect for decks, cockpit, handrails, and swim platforms. And although this total boat teak wood sealer was designed for teak, it's also ideal for mahogany, ipe, sapele and oily hardwoods.
Not just for boats, this long-lasting teak furniture protector is also great for your outdoor patio set, dining table, chairs or other teak furniture exposed to the elements. It's the only teak sealer outdoor furniture will ever need! For easy upkeep, just reapply when the beautiful, natural golden color begins to fade. To ensure desired results, test in a small inconspicuous area first. Before you begin, if teak is gray and weathered, clean with TotalBoat 2-Part Teak Cleaner, as directed, and allow to dry completely. Danish Teak Sealer is easy to apply with a foam brush or clean rag. After 20-30 minutes, wipe away any excess sealer on the surface. Wait 8 to 12 hours to allow the first coat to soak in, scuff with an abrasive pad, and apply a second coat.
