Details: Description
This is a General Purpose Mandrel, NOT to be used with Rotary Thread Discs. This mounting mandrel is designed for mounting 3/8" hole, the screw neck length fit 0.035" to 1/4" thick Type 1 cut-off wheels. The chuck type arbor construction can be used for mounting other various type wheels, such as grinding, sanding, cleaning, polishing wheels or saw blades. The Cut-Off Wheel mandrel with 1/4" shank, fits most grinder and drill rotary tools which can accept 1/4" stem mandrel. Easy to mount and demount. The cutting wheel mandrel is made of A3 carbon steel with black plating, which is durable, corrosion resistant to provide long life. The mandrel consists of a shank and a screw. The shank is inserted into a grinder chuck. The arbor end of the shank accepts a cutoff wheel, and the screw portion of the mandrel threads into the shank, securing the wheel to the mandrel.
