How much space do I need for a Murphy bed from WoodArtSupply?

Murphy beds from WoodArtSupply are designed to maximize your living space by folding up against the wall, cabinet, or closet. For installation, you'll need enough floor space for the bed to fully fold down plus a few extra inches for clearance. We recommend measuring your room and checking each product’s dimensions—these include both the folded (closed) and unfolded (open) sizes—on our product pages to ensure a great fit in your home.

Can I install a WoodArtSupply Murphy bed myself, or do I need professional help?

Our Murphy beds come with step-by-step instructions and all the necessary hardware for safe installation. Many of our customers with basic DIY skills successfully install their Murphy beds themselves, especially if they have help lifting heavier pieces. For the safest and most secure setup—especially for larger or more complex models—we recommend professional installation, particularly to ensure proper anchoring into the wall.

Are WoodArtSupply Murphy beds safe to use daily?

Absolutely! Safety is a top priority for us. Our Murphy beds are built with sturdy mechanisms and locking systems to prevent accidental opening or closing. Each bed undergoes strict quality control to ensure reliable daily use. As long as you follow installation instructions and regularly check that all fixtures are secure, you’ll enjoy both safety and peace of mind.

Can I customize my Murphy bed's look or features at WoodArtSupply?

Yes! We know style matters as much as function. Our Murphy bed collection offers a variety of wood finishes, cabinet designs, and optional features like built-in shelving or desks. Whether you prefer a modern or traditional look, you'll find options to match your room's decor. If you have a specific vision, reach out to our team—many models are customizable to fit your space and style needs.

How comfortable and easy to use are Murphy beds for everyday sleeping?

Murphy beds from WoodArtSupply are made for comfort and convenience. They use standard mattresses (check product details for maximum thickness), so you don’t have to compromise on your sleep quality. Our smooth folding mechanisms make it easy to pull the bed down or stow it away, even for one person. Whether it's for every night or occasional guests, you'll find Murphy beds simple to use and sleep on.
