This kit contains 1 lbs 60 Coarse Silicon Carbide Grit, 1 lbs 220 Medium Silicon Carbide Grit, 0.5 lb. 500 Fine Silicone Carbide Grit, 0.5 lb. 1200 Aluminum Oxide Final Polish Grit. COMPATIBLE WITH ALL BRAND TUMBLERS.
- 【4 Steps】Be Patient. There are 4 total cycles, 7 days each to have pretty rocks / gems. Step 1, 60 Coarse Silicon Carbide Grit. Step 2, 220 Medium Silicon Carbide Grit. Step 3, 500 Fine Silicone Carbide Grit. Step 4, 1200 Aluminum Oxide Grit. Just measure in the grit, add enough water to cover the stones, seal the barrel, and tumble. The only variable is how much of the product to use in your rock tumbler. We suggest 2 tbsp of grit per pound of stones, which is a good rule of thumb.
- 【Jars, Labels & a Scoop】Nice hard plastic jars with lids (as opposed to plastic bags). Bottle caps are very secure. Definitely they will not leak. Use the amount you need and set it back on the shelf for the next round. A scoop is included for the correct dose. No need to pour the material out, which possibly make a mess while doing so. They are neatly packaged and easy to read labels. Tip: you could put your tumbler on a foam pad to eliminate noise.
- 【Professional Material】The final polish in this kit is aluminum oxide which is what the professional use (as opposed to silicon carbide), making sure that you can achieve a wet polished look. If you are expecting nice shiny stones you will have to run the last stage. The aluminum oxide is what really makes them shine (providing you have done everything else correctly).
