- PRACTICAL WALL BED: Dual-mount wall bed mechanism attaches to floor and wall for stability and ease of assembly. The bed accepts most Full mattresses (8-10 inches thick, 60-90 lb, 54 x 75 inches, no futons) to let you choose the most comfortable option (mattress not included, do not use with box spring). A dual piston system folds the bed up and down smoothly and quickly. Sofa with hardwood frame is pre-assembled and must be placed against a Murphy bed or a wall to support the back cushions.
- COMFORTABLE: Murphy bed mattress support uses flexible slats that follow the curves of the body and absorb pressure for maximum comfort. The bed works perfectly in a small apartment or studio with plenty of space to organize books or display your favorite decorations. The wall bed is easy to use; simply pull on the handles and flip the support leg down onto the floor. When planning your space, allow for a clearance of 30 to 36 inches around the open bed to make getting in and out of bed easier.
- QUALITY MATERIALS: North American made with globally sourced materials. Durable steel wall bed frame and laminated engineered wood cabinet with leg levelers. Maximum weight supported with mattress is 1000 pounds (453.6 kg). Minimum ceiling height of anchoring wall is 86.4 inches. Sofa suspension is made with 9-gauge sinuous coils, seat cushions are filled with non-glue cotton covered with D30 foam, and all fabrics have a heavy-duty backing. Backed by the Bestar 10 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
- INSTALLATION AND NOTES: To avoid risk of injury, bed must be installed to wall and floor structure by a professional or qualified person. Two people are required for assembly. Installation requires attachment to wood studs or masonry, removal of the baseboard, and drilling into the floor (if disassembly is required, holes may be covered with baseboards 0.5 inches or thicker). All necessary hardware is included. Do not use this product for children or pets under 50 pounds (22.7 kg).
