I bought this book for my sister for her birthday and it was by far her most favorite gift out of all the gifts she received. She even loved it more than a diamond ring she got. The quality of this book is outstanding. The paper, the drawings, the spiral binding, just everything about it makes for a wonderful no-stress coloring experience. All I can say is thank you to the creator(s) of this adult coloring book. It is definitely top notch. Okay so I have been waiting on this little treasure for so long now and I finally got it in yesterday. I LOVE to color but hate using my sons coloring books because they tend to bore me easily. This coloring book is perfect for someone like me that loves to color but doesn't want to use my sons ninja turtles and cars coloring books. It has so many pages and just one takes a good bit of time to complete. I absolutely love the variety of designs that are in this book. The pages are more glossy so I tried a couple different coloring items to see what look best on it. I ended up with a ultra fine point permanent marker. Crayons and color pencils seemed too light and a regular marker looked streaky to me. I definitely intend on getting another one of these as soon as I get this first one finished. I was able to get this at a discount in exchange for my review. I have included a picture that shows me testing out a green colored pencil (which you can barely see), a regular blue marker (it was streaky), and then a pink ultra fine point permanent marker (my favorite). --Amazon.com
I LOVE coloring!! I have always appreciated being creative and coloring not only brings that out in me, but also helps me to unwind. Even before I had kids, I had my own stash of books and crayons. Back then my crayons were all in one piece and not naked...lol. Now, my 2yr old will hand me a crayon and within seconds take it back. Plus, I am not so crazy about coloring princesses all of the time. So, I was given the opportunity to receive this book at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. I had to jump on it. This book, this adult coloring book, is by far AMAZING!! I love this book so very much. No pages are the exact same. The curves and designs are so elegant and captivating. There is so much detail in each and every page, which there are 54 pages. It is hardback, comes with a blotter so that if you choose to use paints or markers, it will not bleed through. It is spiral bound and just the best put together coloring book that I have ever seen. I opted to use colored pencils for my first page. I sit waiting in the car line for over an hour at the school and thought this would be a perfect thing to take with me. I was right. I felt a little odd at first with people watching me color, but hey, don't judge me. It is magical!! Time flew by while I was coloring and I didn't even finish within that hour. I waited for the kids to get to sleep and then pulled it out to finish. I really cannot wait to start my second page. I made the mistake of showing my 8yr old and now she has started a page. It keeps her busy though and she loves to be creative, as much as I do. This coloring book is highly recommended for anyone!! T
