For those of you nerdy enough to know better, our paper is 140lb/300gsm (which means the pre-cut “ream” of full-size sheets weighs 140 pounds and a single sheet of one square meter weighs 300 grams). All of this just means Canson XL watercolor paper has impressive absorbency and strength. So, go at it with bright colors, gradients, and detailed strokes, and even mix things up with gouache or acrylic paint for a mixed media effect.
