Crown Tools 252 / Big Horn 24133 1-1/4 Inch Oval Skew Chisel is a long, flat, bevel-edged chisel with an angled tip. Specially developed to allow the blade to move more easily along the tool rest than normal rectangular shaped chisels. Made from High Speed Steel and fitted with an ergonomically designed Beechwood handle with heavy duty brass ferrule. This skew chisel is applicable for making turned table legs, bed posts, or other decorative objects.

This fine quality Crown 1-1/4-Inch Oval Skew Chisel is specially developed to allow the blade to move more easily along the tool rest than normal rectangular shaped chisels. Made from M2 High Speed Steel (Rockwell 62/64) and fitted with an ergonomically designed 14-Inch stained Rosewood handle with heavy duty brass ferrule. Gives up to six times the edge life of carbon tools.
