The NUMBER of roof rafters/slats will differ from what is pictured above since this pergola's roof is intended to only span 20 feet (not 24 feet). That said, the SPACING between the slats/rafters will be very similar to what is shown in the images above.

Details: This DIY 15x20 pergola kit contains all the brackets and hardware you'll need to build your own freestanding 15x20 pergola with roof. The weather-resistant steel brackets for the pergola's frame are made for 4x4 wood posts (actual size: 3.5 x 3.5 inches). The brackets for the roof rafters are made for either 2x4 wood slats (actual size: 1.5 x 3.5 inches) or for 4x4 posts, depending on the style of roof you select. The kit includes stainless steel screws for securing the 4x4 and 2x4 wood into the steel brackets. Wood (lumber) not included.
