- BEST USE: This shop table kit includes 8 brackets, which is enough to build 1 solid work bench. We suggest using 4x4 lumber for the support legs, and 2x4 lumber for the frame which will the diy table in place. Multi purpose design you can also use 2.5 inch diameter tubing for legs and 2 x 2 x 1/4 inch angle iron for a weld up design.
