Details: The G0940 takes those features one step further with a super flat granite main table. The granite table provides exceptional stability, never rusts, and stays smooth and even for the life of the planer compared to steel bases that may deflect or sag in the planing process. The G0940 helical cutterhead has 30 inserts arranged in 2 rows that creates a cleaner, smoother, and quieter cut compared to straight knife blades. Featuring a fixed-height table design, the cutterhead raises and lowers for thickness adjustments, as opposed to the table. This allows for permanent infeed and outfeed table setups. A depth-of-cut indicator that reads up to 1/8" helps you track planing depth. An adjustable cutterhead depth stop allows for repeatable planing operations to speed up production, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency.
