The 44" post comes pre-drilled with 11 pairs of stair holes and is ideal for railing projects measuring 36-38 inches. It serves as both structural end and middle posts in stair sections, which maximizes space utilization, creating a visually wider and more comfortable environment.
- Versatile & Stylish Security: The 4.5"x5.5" welded plate of the side mount post offers a larger contact area. Designed with 4 holes and a 6mm thickness, it enhanced stability and durability. Our side-mount cable post seamlessly combines style and safety, making it perfect for deck projects, including fixed decks, porches, and even commercial railings or stairs.
- Code Compliance: This structural square post is designed with 3.15" cable spacing to meet code requirements for cable railing systems. Generally, the span between two posts should not exceed 4 feet to pass the 4" sphere test. Reviewing local cable railing codes before purchasing is advisable, as requirements may vary by state.
- Premium Material: Our black powder-coated side mount post is made from SS304 for high hardness and impact resistance, preventing deformation. The black rubber grommets provide durable support at any stair angle. Note: T304 is not recommended for projects within 10 miles of saltwater or seaside environments.
