Details: The HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS Stow Away Cabinet Ironing Board is a built-in cabinet that installs into the wall. The cabinet keeps the ironing board inside it hidden away until you are ready to iron. The cabinet installs between 16"-on center wood or metal studs (hardware included for wood studs only). Installation requires cutting a rectangle into the walls surface and setting the cabinet inside the cutout. PLEASE REVIEW VIDEO for more info! This handy cabinet has an oak door and MDF interior. The wood board inside is 11.75" x 41". It folds out forward 44.5" from the wall and swivels all the way to the right and left! Ironing board opens 10" above the bottom of the cabinet and can be raised 2" after install (board comes pre-installed inside the cabinet). Cabinet also includes two storage shelves (TOP SHELF: 13.25" x 4.375" and 12" tall; BOTTOM SHELF: 13.25" x 3.5" and 16" tall). The top shelf fits irons with a max width or depth of 4.375", to fit on the upper shelf next to the heat-resistant plate. HARDWARE is included--and is packaged with the ironing board cover. Cabinet cannot be mounted to the surface of the wall; it must be set inside the wall.
