This set comes with soft, medium and hard grades of charcoal with a lacquer coating for clean handling. The solid, weighty feel of each woodless pencil combined with the smooth exterior offers a satisfying, comfortable feel while you draw. Create beautiful, broad strokes by holding the pencils on an angle or achieve fine details using the sharpened point. You can also create highlights using a kneadable eraser. If you enjoy sketching and drawing, this three piece set is the perfect addition to your art materials. Includes 1 x soft charcoal pencil 1 x medium charcoal pencil 1 x hard charcoal pencil Note: Do not sharpen pastel and charcoal pencils with a regular sharpener because this can cause breakage. We’d recommend using a sharp hobby knife (under adult supervision). Sharpen away from yourself slowly and at a slight angle for best results. For a finer point try using a sandpaper block or fine grade sandpaper. Apply gentle pressure and move it backwards and forwards on the point while rotating the pencil to evenly sharpen each side.
