The Stanley FatMax 3-Piece Wood Chisel Set is the ultimate chisel set! It includes three chisels: 1/2-inch, 3/4-inch, and 1-inch FatMax chisels. They have 45-percent longer blades than other wood chisels and are ideal for use in fine woodworking and carpentry. The blades are 100-percent through-hardened for better blade life and re-sharpening. They feature bi-material ergonomic handle for better feel and better grip. The handles are also longer for better safety and control. This three-piece chisel set comes with a storage case that allows for carry along or free-standing bench-top use. Some of the other features of the FatMax chisels are: Ball bearing grade steel for maximum edge retention and long life; blade tip guards for protection and safety, large steel striking cap provides better handle durability and greater ease in striking; and recessed thumb grip for comfort and control.

The Stanley Works, originally a bolt and door hardware manufacturing company located in New Britain, Connecticut; was founded in 1843 by Frederick T. Stanley. A few years later, in 1857, Fredericks cousin, Henry Stanley, founded The Stanley Rule and Level Company.
