Details: This thermometer unites many thermometer "wants" in one handy product. First, the oversized 1. 0" LCD readout displays the temperature boldly and clearly. Not getting the viewing angle desired? The head of the thermometer pivots and adjusts into multiple angles no bending or twisting or angling to read the temperature. The head also has rubberized accents for enhanced “gripability”. In addition, this handy thermometer features a hold button to "lock" the temperature insert into food being cooked in the oven, press "hold" after a stable reading, then pull the thermometer out of the food. The temperature of the food is "held" in the readout. The benefit? The food does not need to be removed from the oven and thus less heat escapes. All this plus an ultra thin thermometer tip, handy pocket/storage sleeve, and an F/C conversion switch.
