They're great for smooth and even spreading of a multitude of materials, including mixed epoxy, caulk, putties, polyester resins, gelcoat, thickened adhesives, fairing & filling compounds, fillets, spackling paste, automotive body fillers and casting compounds such as TotalBoat Razzo. Versatile spreaders are ideal for bonding, laminating, fairing, filleting, filling, caulking, molding, flow coating, and repair applications. These durable, squeege-type spreaders are firm, yet flexible enough to conform to slightly curved surfaces, making them ideal for fairing hulls or smoothing filler on auto body repairs. Their flexibility also makes them resistant to cracking and breaking so they'll last longer than hard, rigid spreading tools. Because they bend easily, it's a snap to remove dried epoxy, glue and automotive body filler, so you can clean and reuse them for a variety of boatbuilding, automotive repair, woodworking and art applications. This is a great set to have because it includes different types of edges - notched (4-1/8" x 2-3/4" - double-sided with 3/8" & 1/4" gauges), curved (4-1/2" x 3-1/4") and straight (4-1/2" x 3") - to handle just about any spreading application smoothly and consistently - over and over again.
