The vase is made in mino ware ceramic pottery style, which was developed more than 1300 years and it is a protected traditional craft characterized by the innovative glaze use and its unusual shapes and colors. The kenzan is made following traditional design from ikebana Sogetsu School. The ikebana flower arrangement shears are manufactured by a third generation blacksmith artisam from Sanjo, a city known since 17th century for their metalworking skills.
