Constructed from planks of real wood, this item makes a bold statement whether used as a fireplace mantel or a floating shelf. The unique finish options and construction of this mantel portray perfectly the popular look of a naturally aged wood beam. These shelves are easy to install and built to last. The Urban Reclaimed Rustic Weathered Beam Mantel Shelf portrays the look of a natural aged wood beam. The weather look features a flat finish. Our floating shelves are manufactured with ¾” thick aspen lumber in which we selectively harvested and then mill the logs into lumber. The aspen tree naturally reproduces itself via its root system making it an urban reclaimed item. Due to variation in wood grain, pattern, knots, cracks, and texture of the wood the color/appearance may be slightly different than pictured. Each piece of wood is unique and may take stain differently. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket to. Heat clearances must be adhered to.
