The ink can be used directly from the bottle, but can be diluted with water for a lighter tint or more transparent. (In such cases, please always use distilled water to avoid the separation of the dye and solutions. If you apply a thick coat, it will have a glossy finish. Drawing inks contain dyes and may fade when exposed to light. If your artwork is exposed to light, please do not use it.
